This family-owned gem specializes in fish and chicken done right, with combo options that let you mix and match favorites like catfish, cod, flounder, and a full variety of chicken cuts (breast, thigh, wing, leg, or tender). The sides are just as impressive — homemade and full of flavor — from collard greens and mashed potatoes to spaghetti, mac n cheese, coleslaw and more. My husband ordered the “Pleaser Combo” with catfish and chicken tenders, plus greens and mac n cheese. I went with the two-piece chicken tender meal with spaghetti and mashed potatoes. Every bite was fresh, hot, and full of soul. What really stood out was the love and care in everything — from the homemade tartar and dipping sauces to the incredible house-made mild sauce. (Pro tip: It’s bottled on the tables, and you’ll want to use it on everything. It’s that good!) They also bottle their own lemonades and teas, and they are so good! We had to grab more for the road home. The pineapple lemonade was top notch, and we also enjoyed the peach lemonade and sweet tea.

Was looking for a good meal after a company outing. We found this place while searching 'restaurants near me'. I'm so glad we chose this spot! I was taken back to my grandmother's kitchen with every bite. The chicken was made with magic and love. I will dream about the cornbread for weeks. And don't get me started on the sweet tea!! As if the food wasn't enough, the owner put our experience over the top! I'm in the restaurant business and I promise you, you want to eat here! Enjoy!

I would have rated the food as a five star but I ran into a little issue that was part me problem, I showed up at two in the afternoon. I do want to tell you up front you’ll probably drop a $20 for a meal and drink. The chicken and fish was done perfectly!!! I loved the fried okra as well Now the Mac and cheese scared me but I took a nibble and if you like cold bottom of the pan Mac and cheese than this was for you. The candy yams were cold but I imagine they would have been good hot. The coleslaw was ok The folks who ran it, I assume, was the nicest you could be although once the food hit the table we never saw a person until we left. On my dads dr appointments we always try a new restaurant and once in awhile we go back. We will go back to this one but we want to try during a meal time like lunch or supper. I realize it was 2 o clock but I’m a customer whether it’s noon or 4 in the afternoon. In fact I’m a customer who shares our travels with many. Hey to all you that look at the picture and notice the chicken leg has already been eaten, well it was that good I ate it before the picture. Tried for the first time while in town for tournament. Ordered chicken tender 9/10, mac 2/10 and fry 10/10. Very friendly but kind of pricey based on other options in the area. Chicken was freshly cooked. Only complaint would be the seasoning had too much salt to the point it over powered the bbq and hot sauce. Mac was ok but would not order again. Fries were great would order again.

We drove down from Omaha and it was definitely worth the 3.5 hour drive Bothe fish and chicken had a nice crunch and flavor. We enjoyed all sides. Their homemade hot sauce was nice. The owners were friendly and we look forward to visiting Sugapeach again.
